Confirmation that Rachel Ball has sadly had to pull out of her scheduled WBA Bantamweight World Title clash with Shannon Courtenay next month.
The Aldridge fighter was due to face Courtenay on April 10 but is still feeling the effects of COVID-19, which she contracted in January.
Now, Ebanie Bridges – who Ball was meant to fight for the strap last year before she withdrew due to injury – has stepped in on short notice to fight Courtenay with The Ginger Boxer eyeing the winner later in the year.
